FROM «ROZMYSLY» TO «MEDITATION»: CONTEMPORARY RESEACH ON CARTESIANISM AND UKRAINIAN HISTORY OF PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

In present article shown views of advanced historians of phylosophy of XX century, that investigated Dekart’s “Meditations”. Described the stages of Dekart’s metaphysics formation, the main role of “Meditations” in this process and imperfectionof metaphysics science in IV part of “Discussions about method”. Considered the hypothesis of Zh.L. Maryon about status of “Meditations” as trial to present more clear and essential answer to the insightful critics of “Discourse”. Have been shown the features of literature style of meditation and character of including it’s in the phylosophycal text by Dekart; however, it was shown that goals of Dekart’s apologetics, as well as understanding by phylosopher himself it’s limited character. Was analized correlation of Latin and Franch “Meditation” texts and recognized the necessity of them both for more effective studing of it’s authors view. Justified the conceptual approach for the translation of Latin and Franch texts and were offered the updated system of ukrainian terms analogues. References
