Abstract

The paper deals with the book «Appearance and Sense: Phenomenology As the Fundamental Science and Its Problems» by Gustav Shpet. This book is the first Russian presentation of the transcendental phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. The author tries to explain such basic phenomenological notions as intellectual intuition, phenomenological reduction, pure consciousness, intentionality and their interpretation in the philosophical doctrine of Gustav Shpet. Also the article treats the phenomenological concept of reason in the book «Appearance and Sense».
