THE SILVER AGE AS THE EPOCH OF MYSTICAL-EROTIC REVOLUTION
Abstract
The Russian Silver Age is considered in the given article as the epoch of mystical-erotic revolution, which aim is to combine the mystical-metaphysical understanding of love as a space element raising at the same time the ontological status of earthy love and all sphere of sex and gender relations. The main characteristics of this revolution are drawn out by comparing the cultural situation in Russia in the Silver Age with this in the medieval Provence, which developed the courtly creation of troubadours. The problem of the Russian mystical-erotic revolution figure is also raised in the work, who is considered as the subject with indeterminate, changeable sex.Downloads
