«KRITIK DER REINEN VERNUNFT» AS TREATISE ON METHOD (ON POSSIBILITY OF ACADEMIC TRANSLATION OF «KRITIK DER REINEN VERNUNFT» IN UKRAINIAN)
Abstract
Taking into consideration canonic requirements to the translation of philosophical works, in the present article it has been analyzed Ukrainian edition of Kant’s «Kritik of der reinen of Vernunft», which was published by printing house “Iunivers” in 2000. The author affirms that the requirement of unity of the context and stylistic peculiarities is not essential in translation of philosophic works, as quite often it leads to significant distortions of the context. In the mentioned translation the author of the article indicates the unsuccessful reproduction of the paragraph about transcendental deduction of categories, and especially the 20th paragraph, taking into account the significant discussion which was initiated by D. Henrikh. ReferencesDownloads
