Анотація

Фраза «філософія – це творення нових концептів» здебільшого асоціюється з твором Жиля Дельоза та Фелікса Ґватарі «Що таке філософія?». Утім, Анрі Берґсон експліцитно сформулював цю ідею задовго до них. Цей аспект Берґсонової творчості тривалий час залишався в затінку його більш відомих тем. Лише останніми роками дослідники почали приділяти цій ідеї належну увагу та пов’язувати її з головними завданнями його позитивної метафізики. Одначе досі не з’ясовано, коли саме Берґсон сформулював цю ідею, а також що саме його до неї підштовхнуло. Ця ідея безпосередньо не пов’язана – усупереч твердженню, наприклад, Джузеппе Б’янко, – з актуалізацією, особливо у творах представників французького спіритуалізму, ідеї індивідуальної творчості в другій половині ХІХ століття. Я доводжу, що насправді вона постала з полеміки з представниками протилежного табору – позитивістами, а надто з Гюставом Бело.
