Сучасне логічне знання і Бейконові ідоли ума: упередження чи помилки?

Чим у контексті сучасної логіки та теорії аргументації є Бейконові ідоли ума – упередженнями чи помилками? За сучасної термінологічної нечіткості, авторки обґрунтовують відмову від єдиного українського відповідника для bias і потребу в методологічно строгому контекстуальному перекладі (відповідники – «упередження» і «викривлення»). При цьому ідоли племені та печери співвіднесено з підтверджувальним викривленням як систематичним і неусвідомленим виявом суб'єктивного сприйняття реальності. Ідолами майдану та театру генеруються формальні й неформальні помилки: ідоли майдану слугують підґрунтям чи компонентом формування таких помилок під час побудови аргументації, а ідоли театру у прагма-діалектиці розглядають як порушення правила релевантності – аргументи до авторитету.
