TRANSCENDENTAL IDEAL AS ONTOLOGICAL BACKGROUND OF "CRITICISM OF PURE REASON" BY IMMANUEL KANT

Abstract

The article is concerned with ontological interpretation of Kant`s transcendental ideal. Transcendental ideal is ontological ideal, since it makes possible the highest consentience together with reality. Transcendental ideal as objective criticism of pure reason in practical use of reason becomes the highest good (das h?chste Gut), which defines all human beings as intelligible. Thing-in-itself as transcendental reason is rather transcendental ideal than categorie, denying accusations of agnosticism to Kant. References
